The 'Spirit of the Hebrides'

Growing up in the Isle of Lewis, my dad weaved tweed every day on our croft.  His legacy lives on in this chair, which uses the Callanish (Calanais) stones as inspiration for its base, the Lewis chessmen as the design on its seat cover, and local whisky barrels as its foundation.  It is the perfect piece of furniture in which to relax and reflect on happy memories.

It started with a sketch
